Service requests
When you submit the request form we store what you enter (name, business name, phone, town or ZIP, optional email, equipment type, optional brand and model, description, and preferred contact method) together with the time of submission. We use it only to review your request and contact you about it. It is stored on Cloudflare's platform in the database used by this site and is accessible to AB Automotive Equipment staff.
Spam protection
To limit automated spam, the form uses a hidden field that people do not fill in and a submission-timing check, and the server limits how many requests can be sent from one network address in a short period. A shortened, one-way hash of your network address is kept with the request for this purpose.
Measurement
The site counts three events so AB can tell whether the site is useful: taps on phone-number links, request forms started, and requests successfully submitted. Each count records only the event name and page path. No names, phone numbers, email addresses, or descriptions are sent to any analytics service, and no advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts are used.
